三亚位于中国最南端，是海南三个地级市之一，以热带气候和美丽的自然风景而闻名。近年来，该市已发展成为热点旅游目的地，吸引了来自世界各地的休闲游客。目前该市新开发酒店数量显著增加，因此中期会有新开酒店进入酒店市场。三亚凤凰国际机场连接多条航线，海南东环铁路连接三亚和海口，沿海南东海岸线运行。
2013年，三亚国际游客人次为48万，比2012略有下降，降幅为0.3%。根据三亚市统计局的统计，2013年前10个月该市国内游客增长了12%。近期，在三亚举行的会议、奖励旅游和会议会展(MICE)活动不断增加，促进了商务旅游需求。
滨海城市三亚一直以来就是国内休闲旅游目的地，持续与泰国和巴厘岛等区域度假胜地展开竞争。由于当地具有不少高品质的酒店，俄罗斯的游客近期增长也较为强势。三亚酒店新开发项目较多。
根据研究，2014年该市将有24家新酒店如期开业，预计为当地酒店市场新增8,361间客房。尽管属于季节性旅游市场，三亚的国内游客预计仍会稳定增长，而即将举行的会议、奖励旅游和会议会展(MICE)活动，例如在2014年4月份举行的世界旅游旅行大会等，也将促进该市国际游客人数的增长。

The hotel was great. Clean, well serviced, and well situated. The staff were also very friendly and could speak some English. Although this is the Garland Hotel, we had full facilities of the main hotel as well. The only disappointing thing was the clear window between the bathroom and the bedroom. There was a screen that could be pulled down, but this still left a gap that those in the bedroom were able to see through. The screen was on the bedroom side as well. It would have been better fitted on the bathroom side of the wall.

还方便。就在趵突泉旁边，打的也方便。出差住住不错。靠近泉城广场。周边吃饭的地方也不少。总体来说还可以吧。
