据台湾观光部门统计，今年6月，陆客来台仅27.1万人次，创近30个月来新低。7月总计29.9万人次，同比下跌15%，辽宁陆客团火烧车事件更导致陆客市场“急冻”。业界疾呼，若政治氛围没解冻、缺乏配套方案，年底观光业者将倒成一片;近日更发布联合声明，盼当局出手振兴观光业。
台湾1111人力银行与“台湾行”旅游网调查显示，有超过65.7%的受访观光业者感到陆客明显减少，其中更有39.8%坦言业绩因而受损，平均下滑幅度达23%。有20%的观光业者选择“开发其他业务”、20%的人选择“开发其他客源”，但高达19.1%的人称“没有因应对策”。
台湾观光旅馆商业同业公会理事长赖正镒称，许多旅馆、旅行社业绩大幅衰退，甚至有专接陆客团生意的旅馆，生意少了将近九成，还有游览车业者反映惨到不行，200多辆游览车停在公司，希望台当局能够解决。

The hotel was great. Clean, well serviced, and well situated. The staff were also very friendly and could speak some English. Although this is the Garland Hotel, we had full facilities of the main hotel as well. The only disappointing thing was the clear window between the bathroom and the bedroom. There was a screen that could be pulled down, but this still left a gap that those in the bedroom were able to see through. The screen was on the bedroom side as well. It would have been better fitted on the bathroom side of the wall.

还方便。就在趵突泉旁边，打的也方便。出差住住不错。靠近泉城广场。周边吃饭的地方也不少。总体来说还可以吧。
