商务旅行客人的需求正以惊人的速度发生改变：人们过去通常在酒店客房里的桌子上办公，而今便携式技术允许他们将笔记本电脑和平板电脑带到酒店的大堂和酒吧，在公共场所工作。
“商旅客人不断变化的需求影响了设计行业传统设计元素的标准方式，包括技术升级和要求。”业内人士表示： “公共空间正成为每个酒店的必需品。”
那么，设计师和供应商是如何创造这些公共空间的？ Norcross家具公司创始人Carson Norcross表示：“商旅客人依靠技术保持工作联系，所以连接需要非常便捷。新的设计标准包括大堂中的工作区域、电视媒体中心、带有电源插座和内置USB充电口的公共空间家具。酒店大堂的媒体中心包括多台电视，充电站兼容普通移动设备和打印机，酒店其他工作空间，如会议室也变得越来越科技。酒店配备了Wi-Fi，带多个电源插孔和USB功能的会议桌，带视频聊天功能的智能电视和蓝牙连接投影机。

The hotel was great. Clean, well serviced, and well situated. The staff were also very friendly and could speak some English. Although this is the Garland Hotel, we had full facilities of the main hotel as well. The only disappointing thing was the clear window between the bathroom and the bedroom. There was a screen that could be pulled down, but this still left a gap that those in the bedroom were able to see through. The screen was on the bedroom side as well. It would have been better fitted on the bathroom side of the wall.

还方便。就在趵突泉旁边，打的也方便。出差住住不错。靠近泉城广场。周边吃饭的地方也不少。总体来说还可以吧。
