随着国内酒店集团纷纷加码中档酒店业务，外资酒店集团也按捺不住谋求“刮分”中国中档酒店市场。然而，投资成本过高以及本土酒店的庞大会员体系都成为外资酒店难以跨越的大山。外资酒店联合本土酒店集团布局国内中档酒店市场也成为当下酒店业新兴的商业模式。
据了解，目前国内经济型酒店集团均发力自身中档酒店品牌。其中铂涛就拥有喆啡、麗枫等多个中档酒店品牌，而华住则拥有全季和星程两大中档酒店品牌。此外，根据迈点旅游研究院去年12月发布的中档酒店品牌指数的不完全统计报告显示，中档酒店品牌前三名则为维也纳、和颐、全季。
此外，某经济型酒店集团高层向北京商报记者坦言，中国的大部分高端酒店市场被外资酒店占领，因为随着房地产的高速发展，政府要求开发商在开发地产项目时需要高端酒店作为，而当时，国内并没有较为成熟的高端酒店品牌，所以才大量引进了外资酒店品牌。

The hotel was great. Clean, well serviced, and well situated. The staff were also very friendly and could speak some English. Although this is the Garland Hotel, we had full facilities of the main hotel as well. The only disappointing thing was the clear window between the bathroom and the bedroom. There was a screen that could be pulled down, but this still left a gap that those in the bedroom were able to see through. The screen was on the bedroom side as well. It would have been better fitted on the bathroom side of the wall.

还方便。就在趵突泉旁边，打的也方便。出差住住不错。靠近泉城广场。周边吃饭的地方也不少。总体来说还可以吧。
