传统酒店都是建在旅游景点或金融中心附近，等待客人入住。但近两年，一种新的酒店在全球走红，这就是快闪酒店(PopUpHotel)，它由一个个简易房间组成，即拆即建，客人聚集到哪儿就盖在哪儿。它正在攻占传统酒店的禁区，甚至连即用即建的帐篷也已经被提升到了酒店级别。
内人还认为，这类酒店能提供一个开放的平台，供人们聚会并分享创意理念，也因此，广告公司的执行人、电影制片人以及环球旅行者都对这类酒店充满兴趣。另外，一些酒店业者将快闪酒店看作一种实验品，借此来测试一个新兴目的地的关注度，实现一些天马行空的设计想法，并观察旅行者的下榻需求。
而从消费者角度来说，在旅游中随处可以找到条件不错的酒店自然非常方便，“快闪”也很自然地开始受到欢迎。

The hotel was great. Clean, well serviced, and well situated. The staff were also very friendly and could speak some English. Although this is the Garland Hotel, we had full facilities of the main hotel as well. The only disappointing thing was the clear window between the bathroom and the bedroom. There was a screen that could be pulled down, but this still left a gap that those in the bedroom were able to see through. The screen was on the bedroom side as well. It would have been better fitted on the bathroom side of the wall.

还方便。就在趵突泉旁边，打的也方便。出差住住不错。靠近泉城广场。周边吃饭的地方也不少。总体来说还可以吧。
